next edition of the weekly TV magazine, CNN African Voices,
sponsored by Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company, Globacom, will
celebrate visual artists on the African continent.
Specifically,
the edition will celebrate young Africans doing exploits in the area of

According
to CNN International, fine artists have demonstrated that a blank canvas is
just the start of a grand masterpiece.
“Whether
it is capturing the personality of a person through photographs or adorning
alleyways with thought-provoking imagery, they are using their skills to create
beauty”, the news network said in reference to the artists featured.
On
the show will be a popular Senegalese photographer who is said to draw
inspiration from her beachside town to create snapshots that have been
exhibited in several cities around the world.
The
programme will also feature an internationally-acclaimed artist from Cape Town,
South Africa. He ‘’uses everything from gallery walls to street murals as a
means of self-expression”. The artist talks to viewers about his passion for
painting and how it all started.

using his work to show the rapid change happening in the heart of the country’s
