Sarkodie has signed an endorsement deal with local ice cream
production company Fan Milk Ghana.
His Business Development Manager Sammy Forson confirmed this on
Wednesday afternoon when he posted a picture of him (Sarkodie) and a top
official of Fan Milk holding what should be an autographed symbol of their
supposed business relationship.
“Signed, Sealed & Delivered!!!! @sarkodie signs another
endorsement deal!!! Still We Rise,” he posted on Twitter.
The endorsement deal comes hours after we reported he is ready
with branded bottled water, which will be sold commercially.
Incorporated in 1960 as Ghana Milk Company by a group of
Scandinavian investors basically to produce milk to compliment the protein
requirements of the Ghanaian, the main product of the Company at incorporation
was pasteurized milk. In 1962 the Company underwent two significant changes.
Firstly its name was changed to Fan Milk Limited, and secondly the product
portfolio was widened with the change of name to include ice cream, yoghurt and
ice lollies.
Fan Milk Limited became the first Foreign Company to become
Public Limited Liability in 1967 and again among the first Companies to be
listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange in 1990. It had over 3,250 shareholders as
at the end of the year 2003, a number that is still growing.
A successful business venture, the company currently provide
