GOtv
has rolled its services Oshogbo, Ogbomosho, Ife and Akure using the latest
generation Digital Video Broadcast standard – DVB-T2.
Exciting launch offer of N5, 300 inclusive of 25 exciting
channels, a GOtv decoder and 1 month subscription, an additional N1,600 for the
GOtenna.
GOtv, the new digital terrestrial television (DTT) service has
expanded its reach in the western part of the country, now covering Oshogbo,
Ife, Ogbomosho and Akure.
This was disclosed at a media briefing held at the Leisure
Spring Hotels in Oshogbo on Tuesday, 15 January 2014.
Subscribers in Oshogbo, Ife, Ogbomosho and Akure will have
access to GOtv’s exciting and quality digital channels for a single price offer
of N5,300 which gives subscribers a GOtv decoder and 1 month subscription while
the GOtenna (outside antenna) can be purchased at a standalone price of N1,600.
For a monthly subscription of N1,500, they will have access to
25 channels, the greatest selection of local channels made in Africa for Africa
as well as the best international channels.

DVB-T2 technology standard allows for no less than 21 channels
per frequency.
