PHOTOS: How Turkish Airlines, itel, Infinix, CHI, JMG sponsored a memorable AFSSCo96 21st Anniversary Reunion

The prestigious Four Points by Sheraton Lagos Hotel has just played host to the 21st Anniversary Reunion of the Airforce Secondary School Ikeja Class of 1996, AFSSCo96.

The history-making event which witnessed the presence of members of the alumni association from home and abroad was sponsored by Turkish Airlines, Itel, Infinix, CHI, JMG. Other partners for the event include Guardian, Vanguard, TVC, Play TV, Table Top Records and City Mechanic.

To the awe of members of AFSSCo96 and attendees alike, winners of major awards at the event were presented with mouth-watering gifts and prizes from sponsors and partners.

Winners of the Best-Dressed male and female members were presented with brand new itel smartphones and return tickets to anywhere in the world by Turkish Airlines. Winners of Baby of the Year Awards were also presented with interesting gifts as well.

The climax of the event was a Legendary Award given to the Commandant of AFSS Ikeja in 1996, Group Captain Bisi Ojebola. The association relished his visionary mentorship and guidance for the set during their time at the great institution.

In his remark to the association, Group Captain Bisi commended every member of the group while accepting the well-deserved award.

“I am very happy to be here today and receive this award. I remember how you were all very young. Now you are all grown up, better and richer than me. I am very happy with what you have achieved and God will continue to prosper every member of your group,” he said.

As part of the package for the Legendary Awards, Group Captain Bisi Ojebola was presented with a plaque, N500,000 cheque and a return ticket to anywhere in the world courtesy of Turkish Airlines, the European airline that flies to more destination than any other airline in the world.

Members and attendees of the event were entertained with contemporary and nostalgic music as well continental and local dishes. CHI Limited, one of the sponsors of the event refreshed taste buds of all attendees with a top of the range of its juice brands.
