Ufot Ebong Attends Matriculation Of His Scholarship Beneficiary in UniUyo

“For innovation to flourish, organizations must create an environment that fosters creativity; bringing together multi-talented groups of people who work in close collaboration together, exchanging knowledge, ideas and shaping the direction of the future." - Linda Naiman.

This is exactly the story of  Unyime Umanah

It seemed as there was no hope for Unyime to go back to school due to financial situation, as he already started looking for survival at young age. Inspired by the Dakkada philosophy, Unyime was able to see beyond what others see by adding value to his organisation.

Unyime Umanah applied and got a job as Factory Assistant in the Akwa Ibom Enterprise and Employment Scheme (AKEES), Toothpick and Pencil Factory in 2016.

As staff of the State owned Industry, he produced furniture for the factory and saved the company lots of money.

When the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Bureau Technical Matters and Due Process,  Elder Ebong visited the factory, he was flabbergasted by the boy's creativity and passion to work, he interviewed him and discovered that Unyime has talent but no financial support to acquire education.

In line with the Governor's vision of always encouraging creativity and ensuring that our youths rise to the faith of greatness, Elder Ebong awarded Unyime with a full Tertiary Education Scholarship for exemplary creativity.

Today, Unyime who is a student of the University of Uyo, Department of Biology Education and is among the 46 other beneficiaries of Ebong's yearly scholarship in tertiary institutions.

The AKEES Boss was on ground to add to the colors of the occasion and encouraged the physically elated beneficiary to be studious and eschew truancy. – By Nelson NseAbasi

  1. Congratulations!
My training is very difficult, but when I experienced difficulties I was helped by such tablets as https://modafinilxl.com/free-modalert-trial-pack/ which help to concentrate. They helped me a lot in difficult times.
