I Have A Proper Recording Deal With Wizkid Stated L.A.X, As Pop Star Releases New Single, Ole (Bad)

StarBoy Records act, Damilola Afolabi popularly known as L.A.X is not resting on his oars after dropping his last work, Morenike, a track dedicated to lovers. He’s back again with another banging tune ‘Ole (Bad)’ which features HKN new act, Dremo and another rising star, YCee.
The hot joint, Ole (Bad) is produced by the label’s in house producers, Legendary Beat.

L.A.X, who has a two-year contract of two albums as part of his contract with Starboy Records has revealed he has 50 hit songs already recorded while waiting to drop his debut album.

L.A.X, who was formerly signed to M2 Records, got signed to Wizkid’s record label, Starboy Records in 2013. He is popularly known for his collaborations with songs like ‘Caro’ and ‘Ginger.’
The singer has also revealed that he doesn’t fund his project as being speculated.
Insider rumours had earlier made the rounds that the young singer is the one that has being responsible for the funding of his project despite been signed to StarBoy.
These include hit collaboration songs, 'Caro' and 'Ginger', with a solo record, ‘Morenike’, being pointed out as ‘completely funded’ by L.A.X.
The singer has come out to debunk the reports, stating that he has a proper deal with Starboy Entertainment, which enables the label to solely handle the funding of his projects.
“I’m signed under Wizkid, so it’s a recording deal that we signed.” L.A.X said when asked about the source of funds for his projects. “And you know I met Wizkid through my stylist at the time when I was recording in London.”
“I came to Nigeria, I met with Wiz, he liked my songs, and that is what happened. He handles everything as a record label, as a record label should do to an artiste.”
The video for ‘Ole (Bad)’ is in the making and will be dropping in few weeks.
L.A.X holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salford University, Manchester as well as a Master’s degree from same institution.
The UK based act is currently in Nigeria.
