Carlo Ancelotti steps down as Bayern
Munich head coach after Champions League loss at PSG
Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly stepped
down as head coach of Bayern Munich following their UEFA Champions League
humbling against Paris Saint-Germain.
The
German giants had no answers to their French counterparts as Dani Alves,
Edinson Cavani and Neymar all found the back of the net to secure a convincing
3-0 win at Parc des Princes.
And,
with the dust yet to settle, Ancelotti has seemingly made the decision to
relinquish the reins in Bavaria following an emergency meeting at the club on
Thursday.
Bayern
assistant coach Willy Sagnol is now set to take over until a permanent
replacement can be found, with former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel
thought to be a major frontrunner for the job.
