Banky W Hits Jackpot!!!

…Signs N100m Samsung Endorsement Deal, Releases The Track List of His New Album

Despite the upheaval in the Empire, all the boss of Empire Mate Entertainment (EME) does is winning. Words have it that Banky W has renewed his endorsement deal with Samsung Electronic West Africa which his reps says is worth about N100m.

Banky W has been the brand ambassador for the leading digital media and convergence company Samsung for close to two years.

Banky W along with Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw will be the face of Samsung Electronics West Africa Mobile Division. They will work together raising awareness for Samsung mobile products and ultimately contribute to making Samsung phones the preferred brand in the West Africa sub-region.



Officials of Samsung have described Mr Wellington as one who represents the values Samsung stands for which is his quality, depth of work and versatility as an artiste that has endeared him to fans in and outside Nigeria.
“The Samsung brand stands for qualities of innovation, change, discovery, self-expression and excellence in performance and these very same qualities are epitomized by Banky W. We are indeed very proud and privileged to have him as our Brand Ambassador.” Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Mr. Brovo Kim says.


Banky W is also getting set for the grand Love Concert which will hold on the 15th of February and will feature the EME Crew (and yes… with the addition of Wizkid), Lynxxx, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Praiz, Omawumi, Waje, J Martins, May D, Chidinma among many others. 
The very much-anticipated album by Banky W is due for release on the 14th of february, the album features the likes of  2Face, M.I, eLDee, Sarkodie, Vector, Skales, Niyola, Shaydee, Rotimi among other acts. R&BW “The Grand Love” Concert, will hold at The Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, February 15, 2013, with great performances from the EME artistes, Wande Coal, Darey, Tiwa Savage, Bez, Lynxxx, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Praiz, Omawumi, Waje, J Martins, May D, Chidinma and many more.
R&BW “The Grand Love” Concert is supported by The Beat 99.9 FM, MTV Base, Channel O, SoundCity, The Silverbird Group, Wings, CoolFM, Rhythm FM and Trace TV.
