MAGiKAL Entertainment Set To Drop Africa's Biggest HipHop Video


 …unveils Art Design for “Watcha U Looking At?”
Rated as the most anticipated video of the year, BRAIN's debut video and new single "Watcha U Looking At?" shot by Africa's most-wanted music video director, MATTMAX will finally be dropping on 1st of October. The music video shot on location in Lagos, Nigeria is already at the final stage of post-production after been shot some three months ago.
BRAIN's "Watcha U Looking At?" is produced by Scube and it was mixed and mastered by Frenzy.
BRAIN stormed the Nigerian music scene with his widely accepted debut single, “So Crazy” and he is set to up the game with this debut video.
According to the boss of his record label, MAGiKAL Entertainment, Biodun Caston-Dada, “Nigeria’s music industry is growing at a fast pace, and music by Nigerians are getting international recognition, hence our resolve to take the game to the next level with this video. We can beat our chest that BRAIN’s “Watcha U Looking At?” will set the pace for HipHop music video in Africa when it eventually drops in a matter of few days to come.”

“We always strive for the best at MAGiKAL Entertainment and this will not be an exemption”, he concluded.
The video has a cameo appearance by fast rising Nollywood star, Tayo Sobola aka Sotayo.
The teaser and trailer will be aired on Soundcity, Nigezie, Videowheels, Music Africa, NaijaLoaded before the eventual released of the video on 1st of October, 2013.

BREAKING NEWS: X Factor: DJ Switch pockets Glo's ‎ N24m, Sony Music deal ‎(EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS)


Sensational rapper Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has been crowned Africa’s first X Factor winner.  
The 29-year-old geology graduate of the University of Port Harcourt and native of Udi, Enugu State, was declared winner at the grand finale of the show held at Dream Studios, Bamako Street, Omole, Lagos. She beat the two other finalists Ethel Eshun and Vicky Gomoti in the last round of voting to win Globacom’s N24 million cash prize and a recording contract with Sony Music.
Before the announcement of the results, the expectation of audience, judges and contestants alike had built to a crescendo as everybody waited anxiously to find out who the first X Factor winner in Africa would be.
The suspense was to last even longer as Glo ambassador from Ghana, Efya, came on stage for a wonderful performance that had the audience applauding rapturously. After her performance, X Factor host, Toolz, turned to the judges and sought to know how they felt about the night.
Reggie answered first, “I’m so excited that I brought my wife with me so we can both be excited together. It’s been a beautiful journey; I can’t wait to see who will walk away with the money.”
