In a bid to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial spirits among young Nigerians, Beautyful Makeup and Makeover has started a one month intensive weekend courses for Secondary School leavers. The training which was designed to keep these young students busy while waiting for admission will see them studying the basic rudiments of the makeup business which will help them to practice while they're studying for a degree at higher institutions when they eventually gain admission.

According to Beautyful CEO, Yetunde Onanuga, "we found out that many young people waste their time doing nothing while sitting at home waiting for admission into the colleges or writing JAMB several times and are not engaged in any hand work. Many complained of the high fees been charged for training and this is why we developed this special training to empower this young people who are interested in the art of makeup and makeover. The one month weekend training is affordable because we charge only N10,000 and N1,000 registration fee to encourage as many young girls as possible", she stated. 

Speaking further, "their training includes the basics of makeup art such as – Tools and Material of The Art’ Different Skin Types and Cosmetics, Bridal Makeup, Straight Makeup, Eyebrow Grooming, Razor and Tweezer, Runway or Fashion Makeup, False Eye Lashes Fixing, Highlight and Contouring, Corrective Makeup Techniques, Nail Fixing among others. Certificates are presented to the students at the end of each batch training. We strongly believe in youth empowerment and we are trying to contribute our own quota to youth development and national growth because entrepreneurship is the future of this country since there are limited jobs available for people, it is left to individuals to discover their talents and get the proper training to enhance it", she stated. 

The January-April batch training is currently on-going while the second batch training will commence in June, 2016.The weekend training is not restricted to only secondary school leavers, it's also open to workers and undergraduates as well.
