Officer, Globacom, Mr. Ashok Israni, in a press statement, explained that
Channels TV breaking News on Glo Mobile is a 24-hour news service that will
keep Nigerians abreast of happenings in their environment and beyond, as they
develop throughout the day.
It will relay latest videos of
events from around the country and from around the world to smart phones,
thereby ensuring that Glo mobile subscribers are not left in the dark about
political, economic , social and other developments at any point in time. “
This service will further empower
our subscribers, considering that information is power. It will keep Glo users
ahead of their peers,” Israni stated. According to him, the
service is in furtherance of Globacom’s commitment to deepening the network
experience of its customers.
Israni urged Nigerians to
maximise the use of the new service to stay ahead, assuring subscribers to the
services of high quality sound and videos. According to him, all the customer
has to do is to Text CTV to 50061. Customers will be charged N25/week to enjoy
this great video service.
Once subscribed, customers will
get at least two breaking news headline daily with a url link that opens the
video once clicked.
