And the three-time Ballon d’Or winner insists he still wants to carry on playing after his new contract runs out.

However, he stressed it’s winning trophies that drives him forward.
He added: “I never thought that, for example, I could beat Raul’s record.
“500 goals is possible — but I am not obsessed by this.
“The most important thing is trophies.
“Goals are obviously good, but it is a natural process.
“The season is very long and I want to carry on with ambition and continue to improve.

“We are in good shape and the best is yet to come.”
Ronaldo would become only the second player — after Lionel Messi — to win the Ballon d’Or if he is claims the honour this year, as expected.
The 32-year-old won the Champions League and Euro 2016, and is favourite to land the award.
And he admits he is calm about the situation.
He said: “After winning the Champions League, the Euros, this contract renewal…I’m not voting.
“It doesn’t depend on me. I am calm after the season I had.

“And I not obsessed by it.
