Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah and other A list artistes, to gold plaited mobile
phones amongst other efforts targeted at helping other people with
entrepreneurialism, Nigerian born UK based Alexander Amosu have carved a niche
for himself.
Amosu a young Nigerian who started
working as a 12 year old teenager who earned 10 pounds a week doing paper round
has converted his smart-work and interest in technology and the mobile phone
industry into a world class commercial success story.
At 16 his entrepreneurship skill
grew, he used his spare time to promote several business endeavours such as
basketball tournaments, five-a-side football, table tennis and night clubs. He
managed over 25 night clubs where he garnered several experience and strengthened
his entrepreneurial mindset.
On clocking 19, Alexander’s quest for entrepreneurship
increased as he wrote a business plan which was reviewed and awarded grant by
the Prince Trust to start his new cleaning business which he spearheaded and
ran for three years before he stopped to further his studies. No wonder he
became a millionaire at age 25, within one year of starting RnB ringtone
business he made a whooping sum of 1.6 million pounds.
His passion for technology, entrepreneurship and the will
power to succeed has attracted the attention of media organizations; appearing
on several TV shows, including GMTV, Channel 4’s Flash documentary, interview
on Ruby Wax’s daytime programme and BBC 2 documentary Mind of a Millionaire
amongst others. His company has been
ranked as the UK No. 1 provider of ringtones and graphics.
Alexander ranked number 98 in the UK most powerful British
business people in technology and telecoms by The Telegraph; he was also
featured on the Sunday Times ‘Top 40 Under 40’ in the UK.
Alexander who is equally passionate about entertainment,
launched his DJ career and TV presentation, presenting his show called ‘Rich
‘n’ Famous’ on Ben TV, Sky 238, and as an exceptional and charismatic speaker
he has engaged in several speaking assignments around the world for blue chips,
schools and businesses.
He also runs Private Business Workshop and Mentorship
Programme.
As a serial entrepreneur, Alexander is the brain behind
luxury bespoke suits, mobile phones, jewelleries and accessories brand; being
the helmsman of Amosu Diamond Limited Edition and Asquared amongst others.
Alexander Amosu who was awarded with the honorary degree of
Doctor of Business Administration at London Metropolitan University has been
endorsed by Royal Mail to promote its online platform where he talks about what
motivates him and how to find customers in different market.
With the mind of helping other people with entrepreneurship,
he sits as a non executive board director of several establishments.
He has also established himself in Africa and ventured into
business across African with the launch of Lux Afrique.
With a property portfolio worth over 12 million pounds, and
having acquired world’s biggest celebrity magazine; OK! Magazine, unassuming
Alexander still aims higher and looks further to breaking new grounds as a
serial entrepreneur.
