Feuding Twins, Psquare Allegedly Put Up Their Omole Mansion “Squareville” For Sale


Paul and Peter Okoye of the Psquare fame have reportedly put up their ‘Squareville’ mansion for sale. A ‘For Sale’ sign post was spotted at the mansion located on Lola Holloway Street, Omole Estate this morning in front of the property.
The twin building with a swimming pool, underground basement and other exotic features is reportedly up for sale at 320 Million Naira.
The Squareville mansion is a symbolic and historic structure for the Okoye brothers as it was the beginning of what many may call their establishment into the Nigeria celebrity hall of fame and wealth.


The twins moved into Squareville in 2010 and the building was constructed by a Nigerian architect and it was reported that the building cost over N100M to construct. It would be recalled that when the mansion was completed, the Okoye brothers had a housewarming party which was a star-studded event.

The brothers have several other properties in Lekki Phase One, Banana Island, Atlanta Georgia and other locations.

Glo Launches Revolutionary Data Plans, Unveils Sole Partnership With iflix


Nigeria’s Grandmasters of data, Globacom, on Monday launched new data plans and unveiled a sole partnership with iflix, the world’s leading entertainment services for emerging markets.

The products are the biggest offer ever to data subscribers in the country. 

Globacom said at the launch of the super-size offer, which is aptly tagged the New Data Revolution at the Mike Adenuga Towers in Lagos on Monday, that the new offer gives an unfair advantage to its prospective and existing subscribers who renew their data subscriptions before expiration on both 3G and 4G to enjoy unmatched data packages. 

According to the Regional Director, Planning and Technical, Globacom, Mr. Sanjib Roy, the new offer avails  both new and existing subscribers who renew their subscriptions before expiration up to 4GB of data for just N1,000. The 4GB data, for instance, gives   about 4,000 pages of web browsing.

In the same vein, 12.5GB is given for a N2,500 data bundle which  could be used for 250 hours of content broadcast while  subscribers stand to gain 24GB for N4,000 and a massive 30GB for N5,000.  With the 30GB for N5,000, subscribers can  enjoy videos for over 600 hours.

Team Triarchy wins Unilever’s 2017 annual Ideatrophy competition


After a keenly contested competition, Team Triarchy from Nigeria emerged the overall winner of the Unilever Ideatrophy challenge. The challenge which is in line with the company’s quest to groom young talents in Nigeria and Ghana, had undergraduates from both countries at the 6th edition held in Lagos.
Team Triarchy had the trio of Temitope Smith, an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Uzomba Ikechukwu, from the University of Ibadan and Egbo Chidera, from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Other teams that won at the competition were, Ghana’s Team Kool T that was the first runners up, Team Classic (Nigeria) that was second runners up and Team Supernova (Ghana)as third runners up. Team Midas (Nigeria) also won the “Most Compelling Idea Award.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director, Unilever Nigeria-Ghana, Mr. Yaw Nsarkoh, reiterated Unilever’s commitment to touching lives every day through its products and social missions. He appreciated the efforts of all the participants and advised them to be persistent in the drive to achieve their goals. He also encouraged them to develop their knowledge and skills to meet up with global standards.
Being awake to what really matters, which is the theme for this year’s edition, is about understanding the power in you to make choices that will determine your future. There are constraints in life that compel us to make choices but every choice we make will always come with consequences.
