Sony Finally Unveils the PlayStation 5

The PlayStation 5 will actually be sold in two forms: a standard version; and a "digital edition" that nixes the 4K Blu-ray disc player.
Like the PS5 controller, the console also has a two-color scheme, making the hardware look a bit like a Star Wars stormtrooper. (Others are joking it looks like a Wi-Fi router.)
Sony also plans on selling some dedicated peripherals for the device, including gaming headphones, a charging stand for the controllers, and a web camera. Unfortunately, no pricing details were given. But the digital edition of the console indicates consumers will be able to buy a PS5 at a cheaper price, as long as they don’t need the Blu-ray player.
Sony debuted the console during a Thursday livestream, which introduced more than a dozen games that'll be available on the new system. The biggest titles include a sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn, a new Resident Evil game called Village, a remake of Demon’s Souls, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The livestream consisted entirely of short one- to two-minute game trailers. Nevertheless, the footage provide give a glimpse of what the console can achieve for real-time gameplay. That said, not every game took advantage of the PS5’s enhanced graphics; some titles shown will be available for the PS4, too.

In a related news, Respected leaker @IronManPS5  leaked what he claims is the launch date and prices of both new PlayStation 5 consoles online.
He tweeted: “Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch PlayStation 5 in several countries in the holiday season of 2020 and will make PlayStation 5 available in North America and Europe on November 20, 2020 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of $499, €499 and £449.”
@IronManPS5 added that the PlayStation 5 Digital, the version without a disc drive, will be around £100 cheaper, launching at $399, €399 and £349.
In terms of accessories, the leaker indicates that the DualSense controller will cost $59.99, €59.99 and £54.99, while the controller charging station will cost $29.99, €29.99 and £24.99.
The PlayStation 5 HD Camera is also tipped to launch at $59.99, €59.99 and £54.99.
However, the most expensive accessory is expected to be the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset.
@IronManPS5 added: “Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch a Pulse 3D Wireless Headset for PlayStation 5 in several countries in the holiday season of 2020 and will make the headset available in North America and Europe on November 20, 2020 at an RRP of $159, €179 and £129.”
