…Armed Robber Boyfriend Confesses To Her Killing….
Remember Wunmi Adebayo a Tai Solarin
Student who was reportedly killed few days ago by armed robbers at her
boyfriend’s apartment in Ijebu Ode? Well there is a new twist in the story now,
as her said boyfriend has confessed to the Police that he killed Wunmi.
He just didn’t just confessed out of
his own volition, but a reliable source said Wunmi’s parents didn’t believe his
story that she was shot by armed robbers, so they had to invoke her spirit (a
common practice in many parts of Nigeria, particularly where the circumstances
surrounding the death of a person is suspicious and mysterious. When this act
is carried out, the killer is tormented by the spirit of the deceased until he
or she confesses.)
This ritual carried out by Wunmi’s
parents made the boyfriend confessed to the police. According to him, he is an
armed robber which was unknown to Wunmi.
Wunmi came to his house this
particular day she was gruesomely murdered. She visited him unannounced and
barged in and met him and his friends celebrating with guns on their table. She
tried to run back, but they caught her, beat her, and raped her before they
finally shot her. He said he had to do that so that Wunmi won’t tell anyone
what she saw.
It was also reported that to create
a strong alibi for himself, the boyfriend shot himself too. This according to
him will not made him to be suspected since he too was shot while they were
been “robbed” and it won’t make it easy for Wunmi’s death to be easily traced
to him (evils that men do because of money).
