the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (New
York) and The Nigerian Music Video
Awards in 2014, Magikal Entertainment Network’s flagship act Adeleke Victor Matanmi better known in
the music circles as Brain flags off
the year winning popular music blog "Topnaija"
music awards "Artiste of The Year".
A testament to his rising profile in the burgeoning Nigerian music landscape.
Speaking on the award, Brain dedicated the award to God and stated
that the award is for his teeming fans. “I dedicated this award to my fans and
everyone who believed in me. It hasn’t been easy coming this far and also
getting recognized just within 2 years of my starting music professionally. I
give God all the glory”.
Speaking further, “I will also
like to use this opportunity to tell my fans to look out for more great songs
and videos from me. I promise not to let them down”, he added.
Brain recently dropped his second official single "Ileke (Ur Body)", a dance track to much critical acclaim a few weeks ago and arrangement is in top gear to produce a top-notch video for the single. The video which will be produced by highly creative music video director, Paul Gambit promises to be an exciting one with great concept, rich African costumes and dances.
