Face of Niger Delta 2015 Audition to hold in Calabar

The paradise city of Calabar, capital of Cross River state, has been announced as the city to host audition for the 2015 edition of the region’s most celebrated crown-Face of Niger Delta. The announcement was made by the event progenitor- Kelly Godwin Attah, while speaking to journalists and theatre workers at Cultural Centre Complex during a working visit to Cross River state over the weekend.

Kelly said; ‘the choice of Calabar for the auditions is not far-fetched; the state has over the years maintained a high reputation of hospitality in Africa. It has also remained on top of the chart when it comes to rich cultural heritage and as a choice tourism destination’.
The Audition for Face of Niger Delta Cultural Pageant 2015 is scheduled to hold by 4pm on Saturday, October 31st at Viaaem Hotel, 35, Mekenge Layout, off Marian Road, Calabar.
Through Face of Niger Delta 2015 and Niger Delta Festival of Arts & Culture, we are inviting Niger Delta and the world to come and discover Calabar, just as the state prepares for the annual Christmas Festival, Kelly stated.

Natural Beauty and intelligence are the basic requirements for the contestants, who must all be natives of either Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Imo or Rivers States.
