Nigeria's leading DJ, Jimmy Jatt (middle) with Class B, an upcoming musical group, at the just concluded Slide ‘n’ Bounce Concert in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

It was fun all the way at Emerald Event Centre,  Uyo on Thursday night as  Globacom's  premium musical show Slide 'n' Bounce stormed the city.

Top  musicians like  MI, Korede Bello, Sammie Okposo, PSquare and disc Jockey Jimmy Jatt, were on parade and they lit up the stage with fireworks of phenomenal performances which delighted thousands of Uyo residents all through the night.

The show kicked-off with up and coming acts from Akwa Ibom State displaying their music and dancing skills which the audience applauded. This was followed by the surprise appearance of  Okon Lagos who kept the crowd laughing with rib-cracking jokes.
Glo ambassador and one of Nigeria's leading song maestros, Korede Bello (Left) Wellu Wellu Crooner and another Glo Ambassador, Sammie Okposo with comedian Two-Can-Talk at the Uyo, Akwa Ibom State edition of Globacom’s highly rated musical concert, Slide ‘n’ Bounce.
The main show took off with D.J., Jimmy Jatt, delighting the crowd  with a fusion of old and new sounds from his juke box.
Gospel singer and Glo Ambassador, Sammie Okposo was the next to entertain the crowd and he  brought a gospel twist to the stage, while the delighted audience also  responded to a medley of his vernacular and English songs by dancing to the beats.  But majority stood up and sang along with him.  Some members of the audience also  participated in a singing and dancing talent-hunt and  those who participated in the contest did remarkably well.
Next was Mavin Record artiste, Korede Bello who  got a standing ovation from the crowd as he climbed the stage. He entertained the crowd with many of his hit tracks but it was the rendition of  “God win” song  that got the crowd dancing and singing.
African Rapper Number One, M.I Abaga came after Korede Bello. Typical of the number one  rapper, he took control of the stage and interacted directly  with the fans who also sang along with him, displaying rich knowledge of his compositions.
Next was Psquare and  the fans got more than what they bargained for.  The twins held Uyo audience spellbound for over two hours, moving smoothly from one track to the other and the people  soaked in every moment of their performance.  They delighted the crowd with a perfect combination of Peter's magical dance steps and Paul's powerful vocal strength.
As square rounds off the show,  Glo subscribers in Uyo  requested that the Globacom should return with another concert.
