taking part in the MTV Base VJ Search auditions in
Abuja on 9 August.

You too could follow in the footsteps of MTV Base superstar VJ
Ehiz who won MTV Base’slast VJ
Search in 2013, and who’ll be on-site in Abuja to capture all the
action for the TV channel. Helping him will be a host of celebrity judges
who’ll join MTV Base in weighing up all the VJ wannabes
with their eyes on the prize – a contract with MTV Base worth
a cool 20 million Naira!
Make sure you bring your ‘A Game’ as you’ll need to impress the
following: Eddie Madaki, publicist & media consultant;
Wazobia FM 99.5 OAP and comedian Moses “Big Mo” Nwokedi;
Gospel Obi Founder/The Flux Factory and award-winning music producer, Vidi
Inyang; event promoter, YBNL Abuja representative, and artist manager, Chinedu Oji:
Convener of the Abuja Entertainment Seminar, and Hot FM 93.8, Head of Programs
and presentation Amaka Onyeagoro.
To participate in the auditions, head along to NAF Conference
Centre & Suites, Abuja on Tuesday 9 August. Get there
early to avoid the crowds (doors open from 9 am). Pre-register at www.mtvbasease.com,
or simply show up on the day to get your chance to audition. Don’t forget to
bring valid photo ID with you. All entries are free of charge.
The top 10 finalists and the winner of the MTV Base VJ Search will
be revealed in September.
The MTV
Base VJ Search is open to Nigerian citizens aged between 18-25,
with fluent spoken English and a valid Nigerian passport. Applicants
already associated with another major TV or radio station are not eligible to
participate.
