Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has finally paid a visit
to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock villa, Abuja.
Multi-billionaire
businessman and the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has today, September
2nd, paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa
Abuja.
Recall
that the CEO of the world's most popular social media platform, arrived in
Nigeria for a business research trip few days ago in Lagos.
"Zuckerberg
is in Nigeria to listen and learn and take ideas back to California on how
Facebook can better support tech development and entrepreneurship across
Africa," according
to a press release from his company.
Zuckerberg
visited Kenya yesterday after he left Nigeria and took to his Facebook page
writing, "I had lunch in Nairobi with Joseph Mucheru, the Kenyan
Cabinet Secretary of Information and Communications. We talked about internet
access and his ambitious plans for connecting everyone in Kenya."
Mark is a guest at the ongoing Aso Rock Villa Demo day and will be at the AVDD pitch finale holding later today.
As
many thought that the techprenuer will depart from the country to America, he
surprisingly returned to Nigeria, and paid a visit to the number one citizen
where he was pictured taking selfies
with government officials at the presidential villa.
