The 2017 edition of the Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award (GNAA
2017) would be holding on Friday 4th August, 2017 at the British Council Event
Auditorium, Accra-Ghana from 5pm.This great event aimed at recognizing and
rewarding the effort of men and women who are blazing the trail in their
respective field of endeavor promises to be exciting.
The CEO of Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award, Comrade Barry Ndu
Nwaihim in an interview has assured of their preparation as Organizers to
ensure a successful event. He promised that this year's event would be world
class as many dignitaries from Ghana and Nigeria would be gracing the occasion.
He confirmed that H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo would be the Guest Of Honor
while Prof. Steve Azaiki, the Coordinator of National Think Tank and Former
Secretary to Bayelsa State Government would deliver the key Note Address. Several
other men and women who are doing positive things would be gracing the
occasion. This includes Hon Awaji-Inombek D. Abiante, the Deputy Chairman, Committee
on Navy, Federal House of Representative, Nigeria, Mr. Nathan Kwabena Adisi
(Bola Ray),CEO of EIB Group and so many others.
He called on Ghanaians and Nigerians to come out and attend
this event as it is aimed at also offering a platform for continuous positive
interaction between citizens of these two countries. His desire is to see total unity that would ensure a lead in the
progressive Development of the African continent.
Ms Serwaa Gyedu, the Secretary of the Organizing committee
on her part assured that everything is in place and encouraged a positive
relationship between Ghana and Nigeria. She noted that the relationship between
Ghana and Nigeria has existed even before the independence of the two countries
and hoped the Award would motivate the winners to continuously do things that
position the two countries on the right track.
The event is free and everyone is advised to attend .There
would be good music, Drama, comedy and choices of food and drink.
