Comrade Barry Ndu Nwaihim, the CEO of Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award during his opening remarks congratulated this year’s Award recipients, urging them to see the Award as a call to duty and more commitment towards making our continent a better place. He called on the Government of Ghana and Nigeria to continuously promote laws that makes it easy for citizens of these two great Nations to do business with ease, stating that as countries within ECOWAS jurisdiction every effort should be made not to do things that would tamper with the good relationship that exists between the two countries. He urged the Government of Ghana and Ghanaian Traders to exercise patience in the call for Non- Ghanaians to vacate the markets in Ghana as this would affect most Nigerian traders who are peaceful and law abiding.

He also asked that the different leadership of various Governments in the African continent should continuously make provisions for young people to contribute their quota towards National Development as they have the capacity to deliver.
