She’s new in the game but versatile
and she could be referred to as the new kid on the block as gospel music is
concern. Ready to explore the industry and also make a name for herself in no
time.
She is strong, a lover of God, a
beautiful lady with many great attributes and qualities.
A single mum of one. Her name speaks
volume, IFE SMITH a.k.a Ifeeh Sado.
Music started a long time ago for
her. It's an everyday thing and it does it anywhere, anytime.
Thou, at instance, it drives family
crazy but they all get used to it in no time.
However, in 2016, Ifeeh Sado, as she
is affectionately called among her peers, joined the MSC where she sang and
also the backup of Adaora (another talented gospel).
As a prolific song writer, Ifeeh
Sado was encouraged by her mentor, Adora, to resume writing and the rest is
history.
Inspired by real life story,
Overcome, talks about overcoming fear, depression, fate, problems etc., because
we serve a living God and with the power of Christ in us, we can and we’ll
always overcome.
We all face different situations in
life and somehow manage to cope with them. Well, that “somehow” is God.
“I always had the song in mind and
when I started writing again, it was the fifth song I wrote but the first to be
produced. I get very emotional every time I sing it because it reminds me of
what God has done and still does in my life. I can't wait for everyone to hear
it", She said.
The Nigerian-American singer who hails from Ondo
State revealed she would like to share the stage with the likes of Dunsin
Oyekan, Peter Tobe (the producer for OVERCOME), Lauren Daigle, Adaora (a great
mentor and dear friend), Onos Ariyo, JJ Hairston, Jumbo Ane, Mercy Chinwo and
Jessica Reedy to name a few
