GLO Extends text4millions Promo

...Adds 2 Toyota Yaris, 5 motorbikes as surprise prizes to be won

 More winners are set to emerge in Season 3 of the popular and highly rewarding Glo “text4millions” promo as national telecoms operator, Globacom, has now added more prizes to extend the promo which will now end in December.

The promo, which kicked off in July this year has seen the emergence of many lucky Glo winners and multi-millionaires who collected cheques of various sums ranging from N30,000 to N12 million in the daily, weekly and monthly prizes. The winners who cut across all strata of the society are also from different parts of the country.

According to Globacom’s Coordinator, Marketing, Adeniyi Olukoya, the promo was extended due to its popularity and in order to give opportunity to more subscribers to benefit from the prizes on offer. He explained that apart from the current prizes announced at the commencement of the promo, Glo has now added 2 Toyota Yaris cars and 5 motor bikes as surprise prizes for lucky subscribers who participate during the extension period.

“The extension of the promo and the addition of more prizes are mainly to meet the demands of many of our numerous subscribers who desire to see more winners emerge and get rewarded. We, therefore, look forward to seeing many more winners collect their prizes in the weeks ahead”, he said.

“In order to make the extended promo even more exciting, prize presentations have been scheduled to hold at venues spread across the country. The presentations will hold in Ibadan, Abuja and Enugu with the grand finale in Lagos”, he added.

Some of the winners who had earlier won millions in the promo include Shittu Shodeinde Talia, a trader in electric wires and cables who won a total of N18 million, Emeka Igwe, a businessman from Abakaliki, Ebonyi state and Ekene Nwosu, a businessman from Jos, Plateau state who won N6 million each in the promo. Hundreds of other subscribers have also won various prizes such as cash, I-pods, Samsung galaxy tabs, HP laptops and N500 airtime bonuses.

Season 3 of the Glo “text4millions” promo promised existing and potential Glo subscribers a chance of winning from N30,000 up to N3 million daily, N6 million weekly; N12 million monthly and a grand prize of N24 million which will go to one lucky subscriber at the end of the promo.
