Adidas unveil their football boot of the future - a knitted ALL-IN-ONE boot and sock combo

Hot on the heels of news about the world's first knitted boot adidas have gone a step further - the first all-in-one knitted boot and sock combo.

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez will showcase the Samba Primeknit boot against Manchester United at Old Trafford on March 16.

The Reds striker  will also be using the specially-created, limited edition boots for  this summer's World Cup .

And now the German sportswear giant reckons it will give 'fans a glimpse of the football boots of the future' with the new Primeknit FS.

It claims to have worked with top players to produce the revolutionary one piece design that looks like a Wellington boot at first glance.

Fans will have to be quick to get their hands on one of a limited number of the Primeknit FS hybrids which will be produced in black, white and red.

Commenting on the unveiling of the adidas Primeknit FS, Markus Baumann, Senior VP for Global Football at adidas said, “Following the launch last week of the adidas Samba Primeknit, the world’s first knitted football boot, we’re excited to be able to give the World a glimpse into the future of our products.

"The introduction of the adidas Primeknit FS is only the latest chapter of adidas football products and further cements our place as the pioneer of footballing innovation.”
