Subscribers on the Globacom network can now make international calls to the UK, USA, India and Canada at 10k per second as the company on Thursday introduced three new International Direct Dial Packs which offer its subscribers various value-added benefits at reduced rates.
The Chief Commercial Director, Glo 1, Mr. Ajay Mathur, said at a press conference to unveil the packs that the company was delighted to launch the Combo IDD Packs as they offered customers seamless and affordable calls to five top international destinations.
One of the new packs is called Combo Pack 1, which comes at a rental rate of N100 with bundled airtime of N100 and a call rate of 14k per second to United States, Canada, India, China and United Kingdom (Fixed lines only). The package comes with 7 days validity for the bundled airtime.
Combo Pack 2 has a 15-day validity for the bundled airtime at a rental rate of N200 with bundled airtime of N200 and a call rate of 13k per second for calls to United States, Canada, India, China and United Kingdom (Fixed lines only).
Combo Pack 3 on the other hand has a rental rate of N500 with N500 bundled airtime, while calls to United States, Canada, India, China and United Kingdom (Fixed lines only) are fixed at 10k per second. It has 30 days validity for the bundled airtime.
Mathur stated that the company is renowned for offering its subscribers the best value for money by regularly introducing innovative products and services.
“The new IDD Packs will make international calls cheaper for our esteemed subscribers as they offer the most competitive rates for international calls,” he added.
He posited that, “cost effective communication is imperative now that the world is truly a global village with people either living, working or vacationing in various part of the globe. Subscribers can opt for any of the new packs by dialling *170*23# for Combo Pack 1, *170*24# for Combo Pack 2 and *170*25# for Combo Pack 3”. Mathur added that the offer is permanent and without any time limit.
He described the new IDD packs as the most convenient way means of making international calls, just as he urged subscribers on the Globacom network to take advantage of the new IDD rates which are as low as 10k per second.
