X3M Ideas, Nigeria’s
fastest growing advertising agency, celebrated its 2nd anniversary on Friday,
August 1, 2014. To mark this event, the full service digital agency donated
educational aids comprising ICT equipment to two lucky secondary schools in
Ikeja, Lagos.
The agency’s CEO, Steve Babaeko,
disclosed that the company has embarked on this charitable project for the
second year running in its desire to make a strong contribution towards educational
development in Nigeria.
“We committed ourselves to the project
in recognition of the fact that education is the best legacy and we hope to
make a positive impact on their future by providing a conducive learning
environment for them.”
While eulogizing the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola and his team for putting education and technological learning in
particular on the front burner, Steve Babaeko revealed that the equipment donated are the agency’s way of supporting
the government to achieve its desired goal in raising ICT compliant leaders of
tomorrow for the country.
“Meaningful CSR is ingrained in our
DNA, therefore, more of similar activities should be expected from us as an
agency in the future”, Steve Babaeko promised.

The beneficiaries of this year’s
anniversary celebration are Oregun Senior High School, Lagos and Community High
School Wasimi, Maryland, Lagos. Items donated include: state of the art ICT
equipment such as Multimedia Projector with tripod projection screen, air
conditioners and units of UPS for ICT classrooms and units of Laptops
(preloaded with the required software/computer applications).
Last year, the innovative creative
agency renovated 5 classrooms at Opebi Junior High School, Awuse Estate, Ikeja.
The classroom blocks were fully furnished with educational utilities and
fittings ensuring a conducive learning environment.
X3M Ideas is driven by the desire to cause a creative revolution in the
Nigerian marketing communications landscape and beyond. In line with this, the
agency has demonstrated ample creativity in challenging the status quo through
its works, and bagged several awards at the 2013 Lagos Advertising Awards
Festival (LAIF) held on Saturday November 9, 2013.
