The Nigerian
entertainment industry few hours ago was thrown into a confusion with the
announcement of the death of Skiibii,
the latest artist to be signed to Five Star
Music record label.
According to
reports, Skiibii had radio rounds yesterday visiting stations like Naija FM and
Wazobia FM to promote his music. On getting home Skiibii is reported to have collapsed in his sitting room and died
shortly after, just before help could come his way.
Five Star
Music’s general manager, Soso Soberekan posted this on his Instagram page a few
hours ago which gives credence to the story.
But the latest
news coming up says the 22 year old artiste is alive and responding to
treatment at a hospital. This news has set tongue wagging, and making people to
think it is a publicity stunts to create buzz for the artiste’s new single “Sample”.
Already,
many people are making jest of the artiste about his rise from the dead.
Skiibi also
known as Mayana, is labelmates with HarrySong
and Kcee.
