Royal Caribbean's
record-breaking Harmony of the Seas this week is kicking
off its first sailings out of Barcelona -- its home for the summer .
The
16-deck-high vessel on Sunday begins a five-month-long series
of seven-night voyages from the city to France and Italy.
It follows a one-time, five-night sailing from Barcelona that
began Wednesday and several inaugural voyages out of Southampton, England.
At
226,963 tons, Harmony is the largest cruise ship ever, a floating
mega-resort with three main pool areas, a water slide complex, an
adults-only solarium, an ice skating rink, two rock climbing walls, a
basketball court and a mall-like indoor promenade with shops, bars and
eateries. It was unveiled last month in Southampton,
England .
