The Eleventh Fashion Show Sets To Take Lagos By Storm


Appeals to government for support and unveil date for the biggest fashion

The much publicized event, The Eleventh Fashion show has unveiled its preparation for the biggest show in town and the date has been set. According to Mrs. Angie Thomas Jibodu, the CEO of St Angies Emporium, organizers of the event during the media briefing with the journalist at a parley to unveil the event’s date last week Friday, the show was created as a platform to showcase Nigeria finest piece of art through the runway. The Eleventh Fashion Show  is a fashion event whose platform aims to drive the Nigerian and ultimately, the African fashion industry; by bringing together buyers, consumers, designers  and the media to view the current collections of African designers in the fashion capital of Lagos, Nigeria.


While it is also designed to exhibit brilliant skills of young designers it also intends to express the glamour of our culture through style.
The Eleventh Fashion Show is an event to promote young, professional and experienced designers. Exhibition booths will also be available for brands to showcase their products and services states Angie who declared that as one of the leading fashion event on the African fashion calendar, The Eleventh Fashion Show leads the way with initiatives that supports, strengthens and develops the fashion industry. Beyond the runway, the annual event provides a physical platform that is gradually repositioning fashion as a useful tool for commerce and creativity in Nigeria. The show comes up on Sunday 13 November, 2016 starting from 12pm at exhibition booth stands with a second session starting by 2pm with catwalk and fashion show and the last session ends with a gala night show that will showcase A-list Hiphop artiste performing and comedian thrilling the audience. The event is poised in helping to expose those potentials to the world.
Speaking further, Angie said that the organizers are hopeful that more sponsors would come in as they are already partnering with reliable firms. Angie who is into several other ventures like interior designs, tours and logistics, and construction and finishing, sent an appeal to the government and agency for support.
