The Nollywood industry has been
thrown into mourning again, as popular Yoruba actress, Moji Olaiya dies at the
age of 42.
The actress is
said to have died in the early hours of Thursday at a hospital in Canada.
Although the cause of her
death is yet unknown but reports alleged that it is likely due to complications
from childbirth.
In March 2017, the Nollywood
actress welcomed her second child in Canada.
However, colleagues of the
late actress have taken social media to express their shock at the news of her
death.
The late actress, Moji Olaiya
is the daughter of highlife musician Victor Olaiya.
She began her
acting career with Wale Adenuga production, starring in the popular family TV
drama, Superstory.
She has also
starred in various Yoruba and English movies such as No Pain No Gain, Nkan Adun
amongst others.
