Fun, laughter as Glo Music show serenades Lagos

It was fun all the way on Sunday as the Lagos edition of 2017 Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour was held at the Centre of excellence, in an evening of unlimited fun and total entertainment featuring the nation’s top rated artistes led by one of Nigeria's Biggest and most established legendary act, Tuface Idibia.

The show which also paraded top music stars, including Boss of YBNL Nation, Olamide Badoo, Igbo ethno-rapper, Phyno, "Woju" exponent, Kiss Daniel, Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, Afro-Pop diva, Yemi Alade, Dancehall master, Runtown and Marvin Dynasty prince, Reekado Banks was thoroughly enjoyed by the residents, who relished every minute of the night.

Anchored by the duo of Mercy Johnson and Ebube Nwagbo from Nollywood, the show was held at the KFA Marquee and was attended by thousands of Lagosians who came out en-masse to enjoy the best of Nigerian music and entertainment.

Tuface who was cheered onto the stage by the mammoth gave a very good account of himself, dishing out different tracks perfectly to the delight of the guests, who were either singing or dancing along with him. It was vintage Tuface and the crowd enjoyed every bit of his time on stage
.

Timaya, the Egberi Papa1 of Bayelsa, was the next act on the stage. As usual, the crowd puller gave the guest a good performance.  The hip-hop and afro-beat musicians’ perfect rendition of his popular tracks including Call me Timaya,  Babalawo Power and Bang Bang wowed everybody. He rounded off his performance by showing gratitude to the fans. Kneeling down on stage, Timaya thanked everyone present for their contributions to his successful career.

Woju exponent, Kiss Daniel also had a very good outing. He held the audience spell bound all through with his popular tracks including crowd favourite, Woju as well as Sofa and Nothing Dey. At a point, he started delighting the crowd by throwing his fez cap, jacket and his trainers intermittently to the cheering crowd. The lucky guys later displayed their mementoes amidst loud cheers by the crowd. The guests thoroughly enjoyed Kiss Daniel’s performance.

Glo Ambassador, Phyno performed at the show and moving swiftly from one track to the other, he delivered tracks like E Chop My Money, So Far So Good, Financial Woman and I Don Suffer alongside other tracks which the crowd chorused all through. At the end of his performance, the Fada Fada crooner was besieged by the crowd, with many ladies taking selfie with him.

Afro-Pop diva, Yemi Alade Yemi Alade was another star of the evening. Reeling out different tracks from Charlie to Tangerine, No do Me, Kom Kom, Kissing, Ferrari and Taking she dazzled the crowd with impeccable choreography and perfect delivery of the tracks. No wonder the crowd, in turn, showed their appreciation by responding swiftly to her music and jives.

Also Runtown, the dancehall master also gave a good account of himself by  serenading the audience with hit tunes all through while Reekado Banks, the prince of Marvin Dynasty kept the hall alive with hit tunes like 'Katapot and Oluwa ni' which got the guests dancing.

The last act of the Night was YBNL Nation Boss and King of the street, Olamide Badoo and he “killed” the show with his very popular tracks that appeals to virtually all the guests. From Skekelobose to Shakitibobo, it was Olamide all the way.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Akeem Kazeem, National Sales Coordinator, Lagos and Ogun States, Globacom, Mr. Akeem Kazeem, thanked Globacom's subscribers for their loyalty over the years, adding that the shows were the company's way of expressing its immense gratitude to the subscribers.

Benin City, Edo State will, on Saturday, June 4th host the next edition of Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour .Globacom urged subscribers wishing to attend the show to use up to N2,000 credit within a month and  text ' Music Benin' to a short code, 207.
