Following the rumors making rounds in the Nigeria entertainment
industry about the sudden disappearance of Dr Fresh, we tried to carry out our
independent investigation on what exactly happened to one of the pioneering
member of the Hip Hop culture in Nigeria. Everywhere we turned, people
including fans, friends and colleagues all have kind words in describing Dr
Fresh contributions to the rap Music Industry in Nigeria. With a career
spanning over three decades, Dr Fresh can be summarized as the Grandfather of
Hip Hop Rap in Nigeria and artistes like 2Face/2Baba Idibia and Eedris
Abdulkarim spoke highly of Dr Fresh as the original "Heavyweight Champion
who made rap music glamorous and interesting in Nigeria at a time when it
wasn't even profitable to be known as a rapper.

The whereabout of the Nigerian superstar artiste is still
unknown
However, different rumours have been circulating about what
could be responsible for why Dr Fresh is hiding from his friends and fans for
more than 18 months when he promised to release his fifth studio album.
Rumor has it that the rapper was a victim of automobile hit and
run accident. However, it hasn't been confirmed by the rapper or his team
yet.
