Legendary singer/producer, OJB
Jezereel is dead.
OJB,
whose real name is Babatunde Okungbowa, was confirmed to
have died about an hour ago in a Lagos
hospital, just one month to his 50th birthday.
A
reliable source revealed that he had relapsed after undergoing a
successful kidney transplant three years ago, and had to be placed on dialysis
since last week. He however died about an hour ago.
The veteran, who was
supposed to clock 50-years next month, is survived by three wives and many
kids.
His body has been
deposited at the Isolo General Hospital morgue.
The music producer
underwent a kidney transplant back in 2013 in India, with one of his wives
donating the kidney.
