Professor Johnbull canvasses healthy living in Episode 9

The ninth episode of the popular TV series, Professor Johnbull, entitled 'Mobile Dustbin' has made a strong case for healthy living in the society as a way of improving the quality of life of the people.
The series, sponsored by data grandmasters, Globacom, in this latest episode, pummeled habits that contribute to unhygienic environments.
The opening scene of this episode featured award-winning Nollywood actor, and Glo ambassador, OC Ukeje, who played Efosa, storming the residence of the academic to inform him that Churchill had been arrested.
The professor on receipt of the news went in search of his son.
Meanwhile, the nkwobi seller, Olaniyi and the yam vendor, Mai Doya had their business premises sealed off. Etuk's hotel, where Samson works as a manager,  was not spared either. The allegation was that they kept filthy environments.
As usual, Professor Johnbull, the moral epitome of the TV drama series, lived up to his billing as the moral compass of his community by declining to throw his weight around with a view to freeing those who flouted the law on sanitation, including his son, Churchill (Jnr. Pope).

Professor Johnbull starred by Kanayo O. Kanayo, spares no word in reprimanding his son, Churchill, who got caught by health inspectors for littering the street with okpa leaves, a native delicacy among the Igbo people.
The affected parties were to congregate in the professor's house to seek his assistance. This provided the opportunity for the scholar to dish out his advice on how to keep the environment clean while lashing out at people with unhygienic habits. He took the matter further by announcing a temporary suspension of his consumption of Olaniyi's 'nkwobi' until he was sure that the "gastronomic laboratory" is clean enough.
Incidentally, the same Olaniyi (Yomi Fash-Lanso) was to again run afoul of the law when he was arrested for littering Professor Johnbull's gate with orange peels when he, Olaniyi, visited to see Caro, Johnbull's house maid (Mercy Johnson Okojie).
The object of his affections, Caro, however turned down his overtures, perhaps as some form of poetic justice for his failure to heed the call for him to embrace hygienic conducts.   Caro told his go-between, Abednego (MC 4 God), that she was pregnant for another man to the admiration of Elizabeth (Queen Nwokoye) and the approval of the professor.
Professor Johnbull was to later visit  Olaniyi in the custody of the health inspectors without making any attempt to bail him.  He consequently made it clear he would not condone any habit that negated healthy living.
Professor Johnbull is aired on Tuesday on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes. Repeat broadcasts air on the same stations on Fridays at the same time.
