D'Word a.k.a Pheel'DW who's real names are Adebayo Ajibade Phillip was born and
bred in Lagos in the 80' on the 19th-Aug into the family of six as the last
born and hailed from Ondo state Western region of Nigeria, West Africa. Started
his career as far back 90's and with experience spanning over a decade he's
genre of music which is a blend of Afro HipHop & Soul will make you want
more of this rapper who careful picks and sifts his lyrics to suite your mood.
He's recorded few single, such as ShayaGbangba, NoBeMumu, Celenaseh which enjoyed airplay and got him quite a some attention on the local scene to mention a few and int'll scene with the help of his Topaz Tigers Entertainment, a Texas, US based entertainment outfit who's helped with the distributions over the years.
The need to be break out of the norm was the birth of his new smashing single titled "MELANIN" a song made to motivate and inspired all shades of dark skinned woman around the world to love and be comfortable in their skin tone and as he also looks forward to take the campaign beyond the song.
Pheel D'Word carving such a high class nitch for himself is indeed a force to reckoned with.
